About the federation
The Bermuda Chess Association is the governing body for chess in Bermuda. We run the national championships, keep the ratings, train arbiters and select the teams that represent Bermuda abroad.
Our mission
To promote chess in Bermuda for players of every age and strength, and to represent Bermuda in international play.
The federation sanctions tournaments, publishes the rating list and selects national teams for the Chess Olympiad and youth events.
It is run by an elected council of volunteers. Clubs and schools affiliate to the federation, and players join as members.
Our vision
A strong, friendly chess community and a Bermudian team that travels well.
